BeeHaven puppies can come in all three recognized colors: Black, Yellow, and Chocolate. Some litters may have a combination of colors and some may be all one color. All pups are sold on limited registration and are to be spayed or neutered. Pups are raised in our home, socialized, and started on house training before they go to their new homes.

Our litters are planned to produce sound, healthy, and beautiful labradors. Parents have OFA hip and elbow certification as well as annual eye exams (CERF). At least one parent will be Optigen normal. Some will have additional clearances as well.

Puppies will go to their new homes with an information folder which will contain parent clearances and a pedigree. The folder will also contain medical folder from our veterinarian which contains the shot record.

New puppies will require a great deal of attention so be sure the time is right for you to bring a new puppy into your home. A well trained dog is a well loved dog.

All of our puppies are expected to go to a puppy class and at least one obedience class. This is where the puppy not only learns manners, but learns to interact with other dogs in a respectful manner. We encourage all dog owners to continue to take classes and perhaps even enter obedience events. CGC is a Canine Good Citizen certification and TDI is for Therapy Dogs. Both of these are wonderful levels of achievement. There are also Obedience Trials and Rally Competitions where you can earn titles with your well-trained dog. Agility and FlyBall are other events you might enjoy doing with your dog.

Although labs can be couch potatoes, they still require exercise. They might enjoy chasing bumpers or balls in the back yard, hiking, hunting, and swimming. Because they are intelligent, they do need a challenge and love to work or play. Remember, absolutely no jogging with a puppy on hard surfaces. You want to protect those growing joints.

A puppy is a lot of fun, but it is also a lifelong commitment. We will be more than happy to answer any questions you may have.
